Gravity Brew

By using traditional processes of brewing, Gravity Brewery redefines the typology of the brewery by creating a passive, vertical brewery. The structure acts as a 24 hour beer production center while giving visitors a sensual experience of the ingredients and processes by which beer is created. Additionally, the verticality of the structure allows for unique views of Manhattans Financial District and Ellis Island while providing Governors Island with a “living building” landmark.
