Bio-Block imagines a scalable modular solution that is 100% renewable and simplifies the construction process for low to mid-rise densities. Created entirely from precut interlocking wood elements and hemp infill for insulation, Bio-Blocks are designed to be human-scaled, lightweight, and low-tech to construct so that the people and communities can build their own homes. The structural system is self-sufficient and can be erected with minimal mechanical fastenings and no adhesives, making it a zero-waste building system that promotes healthy living for inhabitants and their ecosystems.
